Garrett Knight
Zorn, Jr.
Mar 27, 1956 — May 4, 2026
Garrett Knight Zorn Jr. was born March 27, 1956, and passed away May 4, 2026, at the age of 70.
He was truly the center of attention, not out of necessity, but because his energy, humor, and genuine love for others naturally drew people in. Whether sharing a story, cracking a joke, or simply enjoying the company of friends and family, he created memories that will be cherished forever.
A lifelong lover of reading, he had an insatiable curiosity about the world. Like a sponge, he absorbed knowledge from every book, conversation, and experience. He was always eager to learn and just as eager to share what he knew, often inspiring those around him to see things in a new light. He especially loved learning about World War II and could spend hours immersed in books, movies, and documentaries on the subject. He was also a devoted fan of Band of Brothers, which perfectly reflected his deep appreciation for history, courage, and brotherhood.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Zorn; and sister, Colleen Zorn
He is preceded in death his father, Garrett Knight Zorn, Sr.; and mother, Edna Culpepper.
Cremation was entrusted to Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
