Fred Anthony Vickers was born on September 7th, 1958, and passed away on, June 19th, 2025, at the age of 66.

He was a man of deep faith. Fred loved to laugh. He always was straight forward and loved to sing in church.

He is survived by his siblings, Melvin L. Vickers & wife, Nancy, James Vickers, Jr., Riland Vickers & wife, Jackie, and Gregory Vickers.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, James Vickers, Sr. & Clara Vickers; siblings, Curley Lee Vickers and Donald Ray Vickers.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 8:30 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., in the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons, 315 N 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana. A Repast will be held in Smith Hall immediately following the service.
