Fanetta "Sissy"
Keener
Aug 20, 1950 — Jan 28, 2025
Fanetta "Sissy" Keener, 74, of Starks, Louisiana was born August 20, 1950, and passed away January 28, 2025, in Kilgore, Texas. She loved to cook and go to the casino. She was not like any other. She was the one we called for any advice and none of us ever wanted to hear what came next. We never liked the same food, but she made sure she cooked each of us what we wanted. She loved her family more than anything and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Perry Keener; children, Stephanie Ball, James Ball, Amanda Ball (Tommy), Hope Cox (Austin), and Cole Keener; grandchildren, JC (Elysa), Madison, Randi (Peyton), Steven (Lexi), and Hunter; great grandchildren, Jemma, Waylon, and Walker; brother, Gene Clark (Beverly); sister-in-law, Vicki (Mike); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Winifred and Earlis Clark; twin brother, Roy Clark; and brother, Greg Clark.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2025 and continuing from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
