Estes LeDoux, Jr. was born on November 3rd, 1948, and passed away surrounded by his family, on December 10th, 2024, at the age of 76.

Estes had many accomplishments throughout his life. He served in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He was with the Allen Parish Sheriff's Office for 27 years. Estes served as a Town of Kinder Councilmen from 1979-2004 and he proudly served the Town of Kinder as Mayor from 2004-2014. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, ACTS and Kolbe Ministry, which he loved dearly. He loved his family dearly and never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Jeannie LeDoux; children, Jude LeDoux, and Judith Adams & husband Tyler; grandchildren, Kaden, Logan, Haleigh, Isabelle and Jaxson; siblings, Michael LeDoux, and Stephin LeDoux.

He is preceded in passing by his parents Estes & Niccoli LeDoux; daughter Christel Renee LeDoux; siblings, Alvin LeDoux, C.A. LeDoux, Charles LeDoux, and Carl LeDoux.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m., a rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2024, in the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons, 315 N. 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana. Visitation will continue on Saturday December 14, 2024, from 8:00 - 10:15 a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 607 4th Avenue, Kinder, Louisiana. Father Alan Trouille will be officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Memorial Cemetery, Kinder, Louisiana. The luncheon will be held at Smith Hall at Riley Smith & Sons.
