Doug A. Mullins was born August 9, 1969, and passed away August 9, 2026, at the age of 57.

Doug was a loving man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, tinkering with things, mowing, and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed being with his family, and his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart.

Doug loved visiting with others and could always enjoy a good conversation. He was a kind and helpful person who was willing to lend a hand whenever he could. His caring nature, easygoing spirit, and love for his family will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, Kendall Mullins and wife Nicole, and Ryan Mullins; grandchildren, Aubree, Kennedy, and Lainey; siblings, Sheila Babineaux and husband Keith, and Tim Mullins and wife Karen; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Katie Mullins; and nephews, Caleb Mullins and Jonathin Babineaux.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. A private inurnment to be held at Rigmaiden Cemetery, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
