Dorothy "Dot" Humphrey LeBlanc was born on September 18, 1942, and passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 82.

Dot was an athlete, on the homecoming court, and graduated from Iowa High School. She loved music and dancing. She sang beautifully and sang her children's favorite songs. Dot never met a stranger. She was known for her cooking, and she cooked it all, from southern comfort meals to the best holiday desserts. Everyone was welcome at her dinner table. She was everyone's mom and blessed the lives of many. Her generosity also extended to every stray cat that passed through the neighborhood. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by the many lives that she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Norman C. LeBlanc; children, Tad LeBlanc & wife, Debra, Russell Abshire, Terry LeBlanc & wife Mary Jane, Debbie Abshire Brown & husband, Mike, and Carla Abshire Olivier; grandchildren, Megan Thibodeaux & husband, Keith, Emily Byrd & husband, Will, Anna Stroderd, Jacob Olivier, and Cody LeBlanc & wife, Carrie; great grandchildren, Grant, Allie, Benjamin, Layla, Myla, Bryson, Rylan, Boogie, Adam, John John, and Matt; sister, Linda Smart.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Dupre "Pep" & Etta Humphrey; siblings, Margie Dartez, EvaBell Saxby, LeRoy Humphrey, and John Humphrey.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons. Visitation will resume Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., in Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons, 315 N 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana. Rev. Bill Saxby will be officiating. Interment will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery, LeBlanc, Louisiana.
