A Christian Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Lindale Assembly of God for Donte Morris, 32, who passed away October 5, 2026. Family and friends are invited to gather with the family at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Rev. Wynard Boutte will be officiating.

Born in Lancaster, California, to Calvin Morris and LaTaunya Stewart, Donte would become a resident of Houston, Texas. A loving husband, devoted father, hardworking man, and loyal friend who loved his family deeply, he will be dearly missed.

Donte married his childhood best friend, Tralynn Morris. Together, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Zoey. Zoey, his little twin, was the apple of his eye. Donte loved spending time with his family, especially his baby girl, Zoey.

Donte was a hardworking and determined young man who dedicated himself to providing for his family. Throughout his life, he pursued many different careers and opportunities. He proudly served with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Donte leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife, Tralynn Morris; daughter, Zoey; mother, LaTaunya Stewart; father, Calvin Morris; grandmother, June; grandfather, Louis Stewart, III; sisters, LaShaunda Morris and Chante Morris-Bowden; aunt, TaJuana Stewart; uncle, Louis Stewart IV; mother-in-law, Clarissa Countee; father-in-law, Damon Sr. Countee; brothers-in-law, Damon Countee Jr. and his wife, Amoya, and Damarius Countee; best friend, Josh Santiago and his wife, Marissa; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

Though his life was far too short, Donte's love, strength, and the memories he created will live on through everyone who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal; love leaves memories that no one can steal. Donte's love will forever live in our minds and our hearts.
