Obituary

Donna Ray Satterfield was born on August 2, 1943, and passed away, July 11, 2026, at the age of 82.

A woman of strong faith and endless joy, Donna touched countless lives with her fun spirit and generous heart. Known on social media as "Ms. Facepage" and she was most proud of being known as "Grandma Great" to her great grandchildren. Donna was never shy about her beliefs and stood firm in what she held true. She brought laughter wherever she went and created her own brand of fun and crazy that made every day brighter. To know her was truly a joy.

A talented baker, Donna poured love into her kitchen. Since joining Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks, she baked over 600 loaves of Hawaiian banana bread with honey butter, sharing them freely with family, friends, and her church community. Donna was also known for being the epitome of hospitality, always welcoming people into her home and making them feel loved.

Donna loved to work. She was co-owner of High Ridge Disposal alongside her husband, Thomas. Earlier in life, while working at Craft Depot in Florida, she dressed as Mrs. Claus for the entire month of December each year, on her own dime, just to bring smiles and laughter to customers and coworkers. Above all, Donna was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose greatest happiness came from her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Poole (Steven); grandchildren, Austin Moriarty (Cara) and Abigail Sartin (Brance); great grandchildren, Lydia, Esme', Rome, and Wade; siblings, Kathi Marks and Cal Ray, Jr. (Charlotte); special friends, Shelley Apala, Margo Thomas, and Chris Wade.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Thomas M. Satterfield; daughter, Joy Elizabeth; parents, Cecil Calvin Ray and Martha Goff; sister, Daphine Ray Salmons.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Calvary Apostolic Church Children's Ministry.
