Donald Lee Redig Jr. was born August 22, 1954, and passed away July 28, 2026, at the age of 71.

Donald had a remarkable gift for storytelling, bringing every tale to life with expressive animation, humor, and heart. A lifelong learner with an endless curiosity, he embraced every opportunity to grow and discover something new. He was also a talented sketch artist, finding joy in putting pencil to paper and creating drawings that reflected both his imagination and his eye for detail.

Above all, he treasured his family and found his greatest happiness in spending time with those he loved, especially his grandchildren, who brought endless pride and joy to his life. He enjoyed watching boxing, admired the freedom that came with riding motorcycles, and lived each day with passion and authenticity.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy Redig and wife Angela; grandchildren, Ana Redig, Sofia Redig, and Samuel Redig; sister, Shana Bretting; nieces, Rory Redig, Shana Wells, and Dayna Wynne; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Redig Sr.; mother, Lorine Henn; and sister Blanche "Coots" Jones.

Cremation was entrusted to Dorman - Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
