Don N.
Goode
Oct 5, 1958 — Jan 15, 2025
Don N. Goode was born on October 5, 1958, and passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 66.
Don retired from the State of Louisiana where he was a Heavy Equipment Operator. Don was a kind, loving, and supportive husband. He was an avid hunter and spent many days running dogs with his sons. He enjoyed fishing and knew all the sweet spots to run lines on Toledo Bend. Don spent countless nights coon hunting with his sons, even if that meant hunting on a school night. His love for the Lord was evident and he enjoyed attending church with his family when he was able. Crawfish season was a highlight every year and he loved going out to eat seafood platters and a large steak. Don took his grandsons on hunting trips and gave them their first guns. His younger grandchildren enjoyed sitting on PawPaw's lap and bringing him his favorite drinks. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Theresa Smith Goode; children, James Goode & wife, Teri and Randall Goode & wife, Charlie Ann; special daughter-in-law, Katie Burgess; grandchildren, Lucas, Jamie, Cort, Brennan, Hunter, Dalton, Sophia, Joslynn, Charles, Faith, James, Audice, and William; great grandchildren, Carter, Cambree, Reyna, and Lottie; siblings, Debbie Goode Theriot, Denise Goode Crews & husband, Randall, and Joe Goode; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Buddy & Emma Goode; son, Cody Goode; brother-in-law, Gaylord Theriot and sister-in-law, Tina Goode.
