Clifton Dale Boudreaux (Lil Cliff) was a cherished son, brother, father, uncle, and friend whose life was full of humor, creativity, and boundless love. From the moment he entered the world, Clifton brought light and laughter to everyone around him, leaving a lasting mark with his mischievous grin, quick wit, and adventurous spirit. He lived boldly and joyfully, whether lending his talents as a tattoo artist and craftsman, transforming worn furniture into art, or taking wild rides in the El Camino his father left him — each moment filled with excitement, laughter, and shared memories.

Music flowed through Clifton's soul. He played guitar, sang, and carried forward his family's musical legacy—his mother, Barbara Jean Burgess, once served as drum major at DeQuincy High School; his uncle Randy Boudreaux, a music producer, performed a heartfelt tribute song, "Cajun Angel," alongside Wayne Toups in honor of Clifton's aunt; and his cousin Jeremy Boudreaux is now a band director at South Beauregard. One of Clifton's favorite songs, "Snuff" by Slipknot, reflected the depth of emotion and passion he carried and shared with those he loved.

Clifton's love for family was immeasurable. One of the most touching moments of his life was when he first held his godchild Trae Burgess, his nephew Dallon Pool, and his son Dallas Boudreaux. Overcome with emotion, he shed tears of joy while holding each of them. Trae who couldn't say "Cliff" as a child, affectionately called him "Uncle Twitch," a name that brought laughter and delight to all who knew them.

He treasured his children, including his twin daughters Devinly and Destiny, as well as his nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Clifton cherished his big brother Louis C. Pool, whose constant care and guidance were a steady source of strength, and his cousin Michael S. Burgess, who was more than family—known to Clifton as a brother and best friend, sharing in laughter, adventures, and unbreakable bonds.

Clifton's love extended to all the extended families of the Boudreaux, Burgess, Pool, and Richard families, leaving a legacy of devotion, loyalty, and joy.

Though Clifton faced life's challenges, his spirit remained unbroken. His laughter, creativity, and unwavering love leave memories that comfort, inspire, and uplift everyone who knew him. Though he no longer walks among us, his spirit soars free, like an eagle, at peace and full of grace.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Boudreaux; brothers, Louis C. Pool and Michael S. Burgess; son, Dallas Boudreaux; twin daughters, Devinly and Destiny; nephews, Dallon Pool; godchild, Trae Burgess; and cousins, Allison Boudreaux, Jeremy Boudreaux, Starr Boudreaux, Jordan Boudreaux, Jade Boudreaux, Stephen Boudreaux, Macie Boudreaux, Chad Boudreaux, and Randi Boudreaux; aunts and uncles, Randy Boudreaux, Todd Boudreaux, Keith Boudreaux, Bryan Boudreaux, George Burgess, Johnny Burgess, Carla Yellott, Wanda Burgess, Pat Boudreaux, and Michael "Squeaky" Burgess; and a host of loving friends and extended family from the Boudreaux, Burgess, Pool, and Richard families.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Boudreaux; mother, Barbara Jean Burgess; brother, Christopher Zane Boudreaux; grandparents, Joann Burgess, Carl "Scratch" Burgess, Lois Richard Boudreaux, and Rodger Joseph Boudreaux; aunts, Sheila Phillips and Marie Boudreaux.

The family wishes to sincerely thank all who have shared their love, memories, and voices in honor of Clifton's life. Friends and family are warmly invited to join the candlelight vigil at the DeQuincy Railroad Museum on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in remembrance and celebration of Clifton's life.
