Charles E. Bruns was born November 29, 1939, and passed away December 17, 2025, at the age of 86.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Bruns; children, Joseph Bruns and wife Melissa, Kevin Bruns and wife Sharon, Stephanie Hennigan and husband Randy; grandchildren, Savannah, Elizabeth, Erik, and Danielle; and siblings, "Sig" Bruns and wife Mary, Andrew Bruns, Jerry Bruns and wife Judy, and Benjamin "Jr" Bruns and wife Becky.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Alma Bruns; brother, Leo Bruns; and sister, Josephine Jordan.

Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 22, 2025, at Landmark United Pentecostal Church, 2115 Nall Street, Port Neches, Texas. Pastor James D. Lee and Rev. Randy Hennigan will be officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2025, at Riley Smith Memorial Park, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
