Bonnie "Dogie" Charlene Phillips Marcantel was born July 9, 1938, and passed away June 1, 2025.

She is survived by her children, Susanne Spry, James Marcantel, Raymond Marcantel, Curtis Marcantel, Gregory Paul "Pete" Marcantel; numerous grandchildren; and her brother, Donald Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Ethel Gibson Phillips; brothers, Buddy Phillips and Terry Phillips.

Family, friends, and all musicians are invited for a celebration with live music from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Interment to follow at Fountain Cemetery, Starks, Louisiana.
