Billie Eldridge was born March 28, 1932, and passed away July 10, 2026, at the age of 94.

She had a remarkable gift for sewing and quilting, creating beautiful handmade treasures that reflected both her talent and the love she poured into every stitch. Each quilt and project became more than fabric and thread, it became a lasting expression of her care and generosity.

Music was woven throughout her life. She loved to sing, dance, and enjoy the songs that brought people together. The jitterbug and the waltz were among her favorite dances. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying an ordinary day, her love of music and her joyful spirit could brighten any room. She enjoyed the excitement of an occasional trip to the casino, embracing the fun, laughter, and time shared with those by her side. It was one of the many ways she found joy in life's little adventures.

She is survived by her children, Deedi Doolittle and husband Kenith, Lisa McGlothin and husband Steve, Patty Burch and husband Billy, and Huey Pinder; grandchildren, Peggy Berliew, Bridget Freeland, Derrick Landry, Chelsea Linscomb, and Amanda Tiner; 6 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Arrie McMahon.

Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2026, at Dorman - Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North, Orange, Texas. Rev. Mike Streams will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's research in her honor.
