Archie "Rufus" Stanley was born August 25, 1942, and passed away April 12, 2025, at the age of 82.

He is survived by his daughters, Darla Brantley and husband Robert, and Debbie Wiley and husband Curt; grandchildren, Leanne, Amanda, Robert Jr., Tabitha, Crissa, Brianna, and Dusty; 13 great grandchildren; and sisters, Nora Stanley and Daisy Stanley.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Stanley; and 11 siblings.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with the funeral service being held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Rev. Randy Hennigan and Rev. Roy Hoosier will be officiating. Interment to follow at Miller Annex, Starks, Louisiana.
