Anthony "Troy" Fontenot was born in Eunice, Louisiana, on November 25, 1966, and passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, in Kinder, Louisiana, at the age of 59.

Troy will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him. He enjoyed sitting around campfires, laughing and joking with family and friends. He loved music, playing golf, and cheering on LSU sports.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Marie Ledoux; his son, Andrew Kyle Fontenot; his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Ledoux and wife Aimee, Rebecca Poncho and husband Gordon, Denise Ledoux, Tina Ledoux, Wilson Ledoux and wife Darlene, and Cornelius Ledoux and wife Tammy; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Ray Fontenot; his stepfather, Charles Ledoux; and his grandmother, Kathleene Fontenot.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the Reed Chapel Riley Smith and Sons 315 N 14th St. Kinder, Louisiana.
